With a management team that possesses over ten years of project management and language services support, AED  recruits and provides linguist support for all foreign languages and dialects, including American Sign Language (ASL). AED maintains professional relationships with local and national language organizations, which facilitates access to language professionals to address emerging language requirements.

In addition to our foreign language support capabilities, AED also provides skilled and certified Court Reporters for federal, state and local assignments, nationwide.

AED ensures that all translations are culturally and politically sensitive to the target audience and convey the meaning and intent of the original source text (court records, arrest records, passports, and larger documents). AED works with the Government POC to understand the specific requirements for the finished, translated products. The linguist teams who perform the translation are responsible for all proofing, editing, assessment, glossary development, layout, and final product output in the required format and media type.

INTERPRETATION SERVICES

AED recruits, screens and hires native and near-native interpreter linguists who are capable and experienced in providing simultaneous and consecutive interpretation in all languages, including American Sign Language (ASL), within various environments, including:

AED provides native and near-native qualified, experienced, and professional multi-lingual interpreters for meetings, conferences, briefings, litigation, training, and interrogation. AED provides only experienced and proficient interpreters who can accurately reflect the cultural standards and idiosyncrasies of the country in which the language is spoken. AED interpreter linguists ensure speed and accuracy; knowledge and understanding of the vocabulary, culture and slang; and the ability to decipher and convey the language and intention (sentiment) of the speaker. Services include both into and out of English and ASL. AED’s court-certified interpreters provide on-site services for any court proceeding, civil or criminal.

For larger events, AED also provides planning services to determine appropriate linguist and equipment requirements.
